Rimmel London Colour Rush Trio Eyeshadow 747 Dark Angel Review
This Rimmel Eyeshadow Trio is something I picked up one day while at Wal-Mart looking for an eyeshadow brush. I found both the brush and this product and am pretty happy with the results.

This product has three eyeshadow colors as the name suggests. There is a silver shade, a purple shade, and a really dark grey. They are all sparkly and it comes with an applicator that has two different shape ovals so that you are able to vary how you apply the makeup.
I have not tried the makeup with the applicators. This is for personal reasons. With an eyeshadow brush, the colors vary in intensity by how much you apply. One swipe is noticeable but for more dramatic looks, you need more. However, with a swatch done on my hand, it seems that with the applicators grab more product and look a bit brighter. With the brush it takes about 4 swipes to get the same intensity. On the other hand, I recommend the brush if you want less. The silver is very noticeable. It is very shimmery—the shadow and the tiny sparkles in the shadow as well. This color is a lot more noticeable with less product and is great by itself or paired with the other colors. The purple was a little bit less impressive. It looked more like a rusty purple than a bright purple like in the palette, although this may be attributed to my coloring. On a paper towel, the color was still much darker and not as bright and pretty as in the palette. The grey was about the same in as it was out, excepting the eyeshadow brush which was much lighter, as it expected. I did like this palette. I believe it can be quite a bit better, but for the price which was about $4.50 at Wal-mart, it wasn’t half bad. It lasts almost all day, with a tiny bit of fading, but it isn’t noticeable except to the wearer. It could benefit from an eyeshadow primer, but that aside it is a good product for a good price. I’d definitely buy it again and again.

At this event, Gwyneth Paltrow wore her shoulder length hair in a casual style. The layered cut was parted off center and framed her face with large, loose curls. The effect was low-key glamour, perfect for a civic event honoring heroes. She chose to wear a black and silver knee length dress with an abstract design and cutout neckline adding just the right amount of glitz to her look to underscore her star status.

Her makeup was subtle as well; she used a lovely hue of rose to accent her cheeks and lips while on her eyes there was only a hint of blue to offset the black mascara and eyeliner. Gwyneth Paltrow hairstyles have ranged for sleek and under control to tousled for the “messy on purpose” look, yet in every case her classy style shines through, making her styles highly coveted by her fans.

If you are wondering how to look after yourself in the warm summer months without spending a small fortune then the best things that you can buy is green tea. This can be bought as tea to drink, oil to use on the skin and in many other forms and it has so many wonderful skin care properties that you may kick yourself for not using it beforehand.

One of the best things that you can do and this goes for the summer months as well as the winter ones is to put green tea on your skin prior to your moisturizer or sun block. The properties in green tea means that the damage that can be caused by the sun is lessened and there have also been reports that green tea used in herbal skin care can reduce the risks of getting skin cancer. You can use proper green tea in a bath, rubbed on the skin and in many other ways but it is a good idea to rinse off properly otherwise you could end up with a slight fake tan, which is another way in which the herb can be used.
Other reports that have been made about green tea includes slowing down the aging process and getting rid of wrinkles and other signs of aging as well as leaving the skin supple, smooth and soft, a winner in anyone’s mind!
One of the best things that you can do with green tea is to make the tea and then freeze it in tiny ice cubes. When you get the ice cubes out, leave them for a few minutes to slightly defrost and then use it as a toner for the skin. Of course if you do not want to do this, you could just drink the tea or take the daily capsules.

Although winter would appear to be a long way off, it might just be time to get your makeup bag out and transform it for the right colors and shades that will take you right through summer into winter. Pinks, pastels and bright shades can be mixed and matched for the summer months but in reality you cannot get away with such bright looks for the winter. Thankfully, these are easily changed to meet the winter expectations.

First of all, pink shades of lipstick can be mixed with darker shades for a plum look that goes well in every winter season. Matte is usually the trend for winter but this doesn’t mean that you have to go for it and you can always apply your summer lip gloss over the top for a more glitzy effect. The same really applies for the eye makeup. Pinks are very much in right now for the summer but when you add plum shades to the eye socket and a bit of black eyeliner, the look can easily be worked with any winter outfit for almost any occasion.
The most basic way to look at winter makeup trends for 2009 is to look at the stuff that you wore for the autumn of 2008. The look is pretty much the same with plums and greens combined with smoky grey eyes and plenty of eye liner. Why not try incorporating this with the summer makeup that you have for a look that is slightly more unique but still fashionable and is bound to get heads turning for all of the right reasons!

Smoky eyes are always in fashion. The colors may change somewhat but the look is still the same and achieving it can be rather hard if you are a novice. The look needs to be shaded to perfection and not applied with a bad brush in a thick way. This is not a good look and will have you looking more like a clown than a glamour queen.

When you first learn about how to do the smoky eyes makeup trends, you must learn how to blend the colors properly. You should use a neutral color for the whole lids as a base color and to make sure that the rest of the makeup doesn’t slide for the rest of the occasion. You can buy primers but this isn’t always necessary and a neutral base color will do just as well. The next colors that you should look at for the smoky eyes effect are black, dark grey and silver as well as browns. You should apply pencil eye liner first in the same color as the look that you are going for and then using a wide brush, use the dark color to sweep across your eyes and blend just into the eye socket. You will need color on the bottom of the eye as well to get the right smoky eyes look but this can be quite difficult so using a smaller brush, dampen it ever so slightly and then make a fine line of color just underneath the lash line. You can then blend this easily with a cotton bud for the best effect.
In the socket of the eye, you should use a darker color to blend it to just above the eye socket and also around the very edge of the lash line and around to almost meet the eyebrows. Using a cotton bus, you can even the edges of the smoky look and perfect and problems that you might have had before adding plenty of mascara.

The summer has finally arrived and it is time to think about how we can change our makeup and beauty regimes to better suit our skin in the hot and summer months. The makeup that you wear in the winter and the summer months should be different. Winter can sometimes call for thicker makeup whereas the summer brings about a need for lighter and more comfortable makeup.

One of the things that you need to do for the summer months is to stop wearing the foundation that you may have worn in the winter. Summer time skin care calls for lighter materials on the body and face and it is a good idea to think about a tinted foundation rather than a thick and heavy one that covers the face. You can get tinted moisturizers with SPF levels to prevent against sun burn and damage from the UV rays and this applies to lip glosses as well.
Another thing that you may want to consider when it comes to summertime skin care is to use more in the way of lip glosses rather than matte lipsticks. You can get lip salves with extra moisturizers and SPF levels which can prevent your lips from drying out or burning when you come into contact with the sun and cracked lips are really not a good look!
When the summer comes, you want to look pretty and fresh and there are a few things that you can do maintain this as well as making sure that you are well looked after. Using lighter colors and makeup types is good if you want to get a tan on your face as foundation, blushers and other things can prevent this from happening.

If you want to look as good as the latest celebrities or models on the catwalk then you need to have a look at the 2009 makeup trends. The look focuses on real beauty and although it is not as glamorous as the looks that we were following for the winter of 2008, smoky eyes and gorgeous pastels are definitely the hottest looks.

One of the looks that we may have been following of late were eyeliner eyes with thicker eye brows. This look has completely gone and the more polished eyebrow look is back with less obvious eye makeup. Soft colors and shades are on the in but these need to be teamed with a pair of perfect false eyelashes for a look that screams elegance.
The 2009 makeup trends focus on emphasizing the natural beauty on the face so base makeup needs to be kept to a minimum. Heavy foundations and powders should be replaced by tinted moisturizers with SPF factors to keep the skin protected from the sun and illuminating powders should be used to give the skin a healthy looking glow as though you have just walked in from a sunny beach with crystal blue waters.
The colors for the 2009 makeup trends are very pastel with beige, peaches and pale plums being the look of the moment. Bronzers should be replaced with peach colored blushers and these should be dewy in appearance with no definite lines showing.
To save a bit of money on the latest makeup trends, you should try mixing the lipstick that you wore for the last autumn and winter with gloss for a gorgeous shimmery look. Berry colors that have been lightened somewhat with a barely there gloss is a perfect look for the summer and this color looks great with peach blushers and pale pastel colored eyes.

How to Incorporate Summertime Skin Care Into Your Daily Beauty Regime
Sometimes it can be very difficult to keep to a strict summertime skin care regime as it can take time and effort out of your day. Remembering to drink plenty of water, moisturize lots and use sun block can be hassle but these are vitally important for ensuring that the body and especially the skin is well looked after during times of hot weather.

When it comes to moisturizing, there really isn’t any such thing as too much and you should try and do this when you get out of the shower every day. You can also buy night and day creams for using when you get into bed at night and also again, when you get out of the shower or bath in the morning. If you keep the bottle of moisturizer by the side of your bed and also by the side of the shower, this will normally remind you to keep up with your summertime skin care regime and look as good as you should. Forgetting about this can lead to dry and dehydrated skin and this is not an attractive look especially if you want to sit in the sun in a bikini!
One of the most important things to remember about your summertime skin care regime is that plenty of water is important to make sure that your skin is fully hydrated. Try taking a bottle of water with you in your bag everywhere you go so that when you fancy a drink, you always have it to hand. You should also try to write down how much water you have drunk so that you can be sure that you are on track for the recommended six to eight glasses per day. You may find yourself running to the toilet every five minutes for the first few days of this plan but eventually you will get used to it and it will become the normal.
